Amethyst moon (Full Moon Set) - Exclusive

I have always loved making socks, and the first time I heard about Socktober, I was hooked. Every year I love the challenge of seeing how many pairs I can squeeze into the month — and it's the perfect excuse to try new yarns and new colours.

I'm also a sucker for a good mystery, so this year I wanted to do something a little different. I teamed up with my friend Evgeniya, who makes the tidiest, most impeccable project bags I've ever seen, and together we dreamed up a bundle to make your Socktober that bit more special.

Here's how it works: the fabric Evgeniya and I chose for the bag is the inspiration for a colourway I'm dyeing especially for this set. It's amethyst and moon inspired — but that's genuinely all I'm telling you. What it actually looks like is between me and the dye pots, and you'll find out when the parcel lands on your doorstep.

This one is genuinely one of a kind. Evgeniya makes these bags for no one else — this print exists purely because of this collab, sewn specifically for this drop, and it will never be sold anywhere else, by either of us, ever again.

The bag

Black cotton scattered with cats, moons, owls, skulls and snakes in purple and gold — the same print that inspired the whole colourway. It's a proper 25 × 25cm sock-sized project bag, handmade by Evgeniya exclusively for this set, and there are only five of them in existence. Once they're gone, that's it — no restock, no second run, nowhere else to find one.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders close 30 September. I'll dye the whole run in September, and sets ship in early October — right at the start of Socktober, so you'll have the whole month ahead of you to enjoy it.
