The Haunui roving is in a league of its own. Drafts like a dream, almost spins itself, and the colours bloom even more once it's plied. I bought one braid to try and immediately came back for three more. Marina clearly knows her fibre — every step from dyeing to packaging is done with real care. Easily the nicest spinning experience I've had this year.

I am super excited to get the Zebra DK and Deluxe Sock 4-ply skeins I ordered along with the beautiful and well made “NZ birds on blue” project bag! The yarns are even more colorful in person and oh so soft! The bag is great and will hold various size projects including the Truly Myrtle Selene shawl I’ll be starting soon. The cinch string for the bag isn’t ordinary cord but more like a leather. I think that cord will stay nice and secure as I carry the bag about “in public”. Marina was super helpful as I decided what to order and included a lovely handwritten note in the package. The package arrived from NZ faster than items I’ve ordered in the States!
Parcel arrived in perfect condition, the colourings of the fleece are fabulous, and am looking forward to spinning it and knitting the jersey.
